Barbara Chandler reviews Maison Et Objet and Interiors 2010 for the Evening Standard
The lovely Barbara Chandler reviewed Maison Et Objet 2010 and Interiors 2010 and designers block for the Evening Standard and the Radiolarian Sofa made a little impact on her to feature it in the review. Other products that she picked was the chair that puff and flock did with ercol. A new sofa by Ligne Roset in Maison Et Objet and a huge lamp made of rock crystal Regis Mathieu.

Radiolarian Sofa
The Honeycomb range of furniture emerged as part of a collaborative project between furniture designer Liam Hopkins and artist Richard Sweeney at Lazerian studio, Manchester.
Cardboard furniture update
A little update on how were getting on with the new cardboard furniture range. The armchair is now resolved and we’ve started making the final one’s this week. Here’s a few pictures of the first armchair prototype.
Designersblock and Interiors 2010 update
Here’s an update for interiors 2010 where will be exhibiting with designersblock. The furniture range will be made from cardboard supplied by John Hargreaves and upholstered using fabric made from nettles from Camira fabrics.
John Hargreaves factory visit for Designersblock project
We went for a visit to the factory of John Hargreaves the other day who we are collaborating with for the designersblock project along with Camira fabris. The visit was for us to gain an insight into how the cardboard is made and to see the different grades and options within the cardboard world. The visit was truley inspiring and the factory was awesome.
